This was it! Our last sale for the Spring run. And just barely in time, actually about a week late. Our sale was from 10 - 12:00 this morning. The trailer started out at about 93 and was 97 before we quit. It was suppose to get up to 112 by 5:00. Now that's HOT!!!
We curtained off the back of the truck, so we could keep the cab cooler for our drive. It took a couple hours even to get that cool. I don't know what the actual temperature here in Ely is, but it had to be 10 - 15 degrees cooler than Vegas.
We've had an excellent run. Our final numbers came in at 10% more than last fall, which was 25% higher than last year. The Lord has blessed us in so many ways, with the sales only being a part of it. It's exciting working for the Lord.
We'll get home tomorrow. Next week we're scheduled for one more trip to Montana, for campmeeting. After that we're having a family reunion at Yellowstone National Park. Then we'll have about 6 weeks to get ready for the Fall Trip. Our schedule makes me tired. But we still enjoy our work.
One interesting tidbit about our trip... When we started our trip in March until getting home now, in June, we have had more than a 100 degree temperature change. Can you imagine packing for three months, with that big of a change of weather? We should take almost everything we own. We pack in two suitcases and two handbags.
So check back the last of August if you'd like to take another trip with us. We would love to have you join us.
