Snow, snow and more snow! It just kept coming. It was hard to want to go anywhere.
First we had to get a new tire put on the trailer. Jim said there was a hole in the tire. It just wore the whole bottom off. It took until after noon to get that taken care of.
By then the snow had slowed down some. We had a sale tonight, so felt we needed to go. Mostly the roads were wet, but slushy and slick in a couple places. We drove out of the snow in about fifty miles. After that we drove through some snow and rain. Some places were very windy too. But God was with us as always, and gave us safe travels.
We were about a half hour late, and that was with no stops for lunch or gas. Supper was after 8:00.
We had a nice sale. We met a couple members of Ken and Linda Enochs family.
We had a lady come in tonight because she saw our rig. She's a vegetarian and was happy to be able to buy some of our food. She's from Columbia, MO. We know several of the same people, also school mates from Enterprise. This lady is not Adventist. It's really a small world, isn't it? If you just ask questions, it's amazing the connections you can make.

April 5 Bozeman, MT
We thought we would be able to continue working on our list today. We took our order to the academy around noon. We did get some things done after that, but it took forever to do little.
We had a terrific sale tonight. And a surprise. A girl who went to Caldwell Elementary School when I worked there came in tonight, Michelle Green. She recognized me. This is such a fun job!
A lady came on the truck a little later that was working next door. She knows about our church's hospitals and health program. She got some books and lots of information. She wants to visit Loma Linda Hospital and see what information she can use. She was very impressed with what we had in the store.
On our way back from the sale, Jim had another tire die on him. I was driving behind him and could smell burning rubber. It appears that the brakes may have locked up and drug that tire. Only the bottom part is bad. This is the same tire that we just replaced.
We'll get it fixed in the morning. From the weather report, it sounds like may be a good thing. It'll keep us off the road until they can get them cleared off. It seems like most of our car problems are actually blessings in disguise.

April 4 Easter Sunday
We had a super day. We worked on our 'to do' list. We got 14 out of 18 items done. It's so easy to get behind and so hard to get caught up.

April 3 Bozeman, MT
What a wonderful Sabbath day. We woke up to beautiful snow, up to 4". It quit snowing by 10:30 and had melted off in a couple more hours. Several times during the day we'd get more snow or sleet, but nothing stuck.
We went to the academy church. They had communion along with a program about the crucifixion and resurrection. It was a very spirit filled service.
We saw Bert Leahey Grimes with her new husband, Wayne Grimes. I used to work with Bert at the Press.
Vonnie invited us to eat lunch in the cafeteria with her. The food was terrific. We pigged out. We must have set there a couple hours visiting with Vonnie and her husband.
Then we went to Bert and Wayne's house and visited 2 or 3 more hours. They've been married about 7 months. We enjoyed our visit so much.
After that we came back to our motel room and just relaxed. We loved today. It was a welcome change in our daily schedule.

April 2 Bozeman, MT
Wow! what a motel. They gave us a suite with a hot tub in our room. That really helped my let feel better. The room was twice as big as anything we've had. It was hard to want to leave that!
It was a long drive back to Bozeman. Remember all those layers of mountains ranges I mentioned last week? We drove through them today.
I've driven about 1300 miles on the Penske truck now. It'll be nice when we can get back to only one truck, with only Jim driving. I got so sleepy once that we had to stop and walk a few minutes in the cold, brisk air. Today I have the picture of my truck in front of the semi. It gives you an idea of the size of trucks that we are driving.
We'll be here in Bozeman until after our Monday evening sale. We have a long weekend because of Easter. No one comes out on holidays. Also, we have a few friends in the area, so are hoping to be able to visit with them.

April 1 Hamilton, MT
We had a noon sale at Missoula and an evening sale in Hamilton. The drive through the two towns was bumpy. They are doing road construction, so they tore out the old road for about 10 miles. We drove on dirt and gravel one lane trails. It'll be nice when they get it completed.
I've had two people connections that I've forgotten to tell you about. A couple towns back we ran into David Gouge's son. You could tell, because he looked just like him. And apparently so does the grandson. David Gouge used to teach at Gem State Academy when we lived in Idaho. David and I were on school board together.
And a couple towns before that when a lady came on the truck, she looked at me a couple times, then told me her name. Then she asked if I knew her. I didn't. So after playing 20 questions, we figured out that she graduated from Union College with my sister Mary. So it was Mary that she knew, not me. Sometimes in our lives, Mary and I have looked enough alike to be twins. And a couple times even her husband couldn't tell us apart.
After our evening sale it was stormy on the mountain right behind our motel. I'm sharing a couple pictures of that.

March 31 Missoula, MT
What a wonderful room. It's a Comfort Inn and even one of the cheaper priced ones. But the room is larger, nice recliner chair, good beds and large bathroom. and we don't have to check out until 1:00 or 2:00. So I caught up on posting my blog while Jim worked in the truck. Our next sale is only an hour down the road.
We did wake up to a couple inches of snow. But by noon it was almost gone.
We drove around Flathead Lake on our way to Ronan. I took a couple pictures out the window to share. They don't do justice to the lake. It's just so pretty. We drove through light snow a couple times.
As soon as our sale was over, it started sleeting hard. Luckily it didn't last more than a half hour.
We drove on to Missoula for the night. So it was about 9:00 when we got here. We didn't get supper. The motel we got tonight is the total opposite of the one we had last night.
