Another soggy day. If this week was the only time I'd been in North Dakota, I would never move here. It's been cold, rainy, drizzly, sloppy, foggy and nasty. Last night on TV they were talking about getting ready for flooding.
Our sale tonight was bad. Not the customers though, they were good sports. It was raining still and cold. The furnace in the trailer didn't work. For two hours we worked in the cold. It was hard to want to take my hands out of my pockets to ring up sales. Besides that, my feet got wet walking outside in all that standing water. So my feet were frozen too. I think it's time for long johns and hip boots.
We do have a decent room for tonight, with heat! Nice!!!!
