We were on the road before 8:00 this morning. We had a lot of driving to do before we got to our first sale in South Dakota.
I wish I had my camera out while we were driving. Especially in North Dakota, fields were so full of water they looked like lakes. There was water over I-29 one place.
I saw the neatest worn out old barn. It's been well used and now totally empty. You could see through the walls. It was setting out in a field of water, with a couple skeletal trees standing guard. I do wish I'd had my camera ready.
We also saw hundreds of muskrat homes by the wet lands. That was neat too. Some were several feet above the water.
I'm having a problem with these long days. It's Tuesday and I already have a 30 hour work week. This morning we had a glass of orange juice for breakfast. When we stopped for gas around 11:00, I picked up a sandwich at the filling station. Supper was after our evening sale, around 8:00. I hate eating that late.
The threat of flooding is serious around here. Please remember us in your prayers.
