October 13 El Paso, TX

We worked in the truck again this morning for a couple hours before we started driving. It was about 270 miles from one town to the other. About half way we started watching for a place to eat. We finally decided to wait until we got to El Paso and make it a two meal day.

Since we were going back into mountain time, we had a couple hours to spare. So we dropped the trailer at the Church and went to the bank first. Only we never got there. We didn't get that early supper either. Instead, we had an collision with a car and we won! We were turning right. She thought she could beat us with her right turn (she was behind us). Enjoy the pictures!

Of course, we were all so blessed. The damage to the cars was minimal, and best of all, no one was hurt.

We had to wait more than an hour for the police to show up. By the time they finished with their report, we were about 20 minutes late for our sale. There were 20 - 30 people waiting, but everyone was so kind. Since the trailer was there, they were afraid something had happened. Bless their hearts!

The sale was great. People just kept coming. No one complained about waiting in line. One lady even showed me all the extra things she picked out to buy while waiting in line. And she was happy about it.

We finally got supper at 8:30.
