April 12 Denver, CO

We had a wonderful time in Kansas at our alumni weekend. As much as I enjoyed that, and I did, the highlight of the weekend was seeing my children and grandchildren. As you can see, they had fun too.

The weather was super. We went from snow in Wyoming to 75 degrees and sunny skies in Kansas. It almost felt balmy.

We got back to the Denver area last night. We spent several hours catching up on personal paperwork.

We were able to pick up the truck after noon. They had to replace the brakes on all six trailer wheels. Hopefully we won't wear out so many tires now.

We went to a neat restaurant with our friends Jan and Anna. It's any authentic middle eastern restaurant. We had falafel, hummas, baba ghanouy, stuffed grape leaves, tabouleh and fatouch. It really was good. By tomorrow I won't remember what most of those dishes really are. Oh, we had baklava for dessert. I do know and love that one.
