Another 12 hour day, but a very exciting one. Our first sale was in Amarillo from 10 - 12:00. We were busy with great sales the whole time.
The next sale was from 4 - 6:00 in Lubbock. They planned a fund raiser at the same time. That helps our sales and their project.
They just opened a new school this year, so the teacher picked out a lot of books that she wanted for her library. She set them up outside on tables for the parents to choose what they would like to buy. The students were at the tables showing the books. The parents brought about half of the books. When everyone was finished shopping, one couple bought the rest of the books and donated them to the school.
Our ales more than doubled from our last visit there. along with our first sale today, we had a FANTASTIC day. But we didn't have time for anything else.
The Lubbaock Church also had a supper fund raiser. So we did get to eat. Otherwise it would have been after 9:00. It took a couple hours to restock the truck after our last sale. We actually have some empty shelves. That's good and bad!
Our last man to leave stopped and had prayer with us. How special!
