We got a good start on the day. We had about a three hour drive to Keene. We got here in time to have lunch at the little cafe in the ABC. She makes great veggie burgers.
Spring is here. We saw so many Bluebonnets and Indian Paint Brush by the road. Sometimes there were big fields of either or both. I'll try to keep it to just a couple pictures to share.
We love coming to Keene. The store is a pleasure to shop in. They are the biggest store we go to and very well stocked. And of course we enjoy spending time with Mickey and Donald.
And the extra special bonus is the time we get to spend with Emery and Patty Lockwood. Tonight we went to a Mexican Restaurant with them. It really doesn't matter what we eat, just so we can go together.
It got pretty warm today. Almost hot, in fact. Hard to believe that two weeks ago we were in snow.
