As soon as we finished our breakfast, we started working in the trailer, processing our new stock. Around 3:00 we packed it up and hit the road. First we got fuel and a truck wash. That took more than an hour.
We checked the mileage and found out that it was almost the same if we went to El Paso by the way of Carlsbad, NM. so tomorrow we'll be able to see the Caverns. That will be fun.
I read a whole book while we drove today. Several people have asked for the book "A thousand shall fall". Since I now have it, I decided to read it. It really is a good book. Right now I have at least ten more books that I want to read.
We didn't get to Carlsbad until after 8:00 mountain time. Since we just crossed the time zone, it felt like 9:00. Breakfast was a very distant memory. We finally had supper around 9:30 at Pizza Hut. I don't like eating so late. We set up a couple hours, giving our supper time to settle a little. We definately sleep better that way. But it makes for a ate night.
